LolliBop is on the Move…and Going for Gold!
Britain’s biggest and best day out for kids is moving to QUEEN ELIZABETH OLYMPIC PARK!
LolliBop will be following in Jessica and Mo’s footsteps and achieving a spectacular personal best! We are the first children’s festival to take place in the Park and we guarantee that this year is going to be our best yet!
Lollibop lead the race when it comes to giving kids a golden day out - and we’re thrilled that this year’s event will be close to the wonderful North Park Café, community space and playground, which will be unlike any other park you have ever seen.
We’re thrilled to bits that we’re able to bring LolliBop to what is destined to be the most iconic park the UK has ever seen!
We’re delighted to be part of such an amazing legacy as it gives us an opportunity to create an even more exciting and dynamic event.
With the new venue comes great transport links, which makes LolliBop easier to get to than ever before. The closest tube station is Stratford, which has 9 rail links and it’s less than 20 minutes by train from both Oxford Circus and Kings Cross St Pancreas.
In fact there are over 190 trains to Stratford per hour, making it one of the most connected stations in London.
Oh, and you’ll also be able to get to LolliBop on over 10 bus routes too!
Full travel details and how to find us coming soon!
Stratford station has step-free access, which helps when you’ve got buggies and kids in tow. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is also a short walk from the tube where you’ll find LolliBop in a lovely green space (with footpaths) making it very easy to get around
As LolliBop goes into its 4th year we’re getting bigger, which means we need more space in order to bring you even more entertainment and activities than ever before. Get ready for a world brimming with amazing things to do and see!
No Ordinary Park
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has lots of lovely added benefits for our visitors to explore outside the event, including a brand new kids playground – set to be one the most dynamic and imaginative kids areas in the UK. It will include a large-scale adventure playground, sandpit and rock landscape – sounds amazing doesn’t it! Here children will be able to build dens, investigate insects, or explore ladders, slides and walkways set up amongst the trees. Timber-clad, it will both reflect and enhance the natural environment, with solar panels to produce its own green energy. Make the most of your visit to LolliBop by exploring Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park too!
An extraordinary Legacy
Almost exactly one year after the spectacular London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will start to open up to the public once again. A brand new piece of the city, it will embody all the positivity and opportunity of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and help reshape and redefine the capital for local residents, Londoners and visitors from the UK and beyond. The Park will be fully open in spring 2014.
This new exciting piece of London will feature state of the art venues such as the Copper Box, new homes and schools, beautiful public parklands, and a year round programme of events.
Now we think that’s something totally brilliant and exciting to be part of.
